Magnetic Attractor (v1.0.0)

A clean, vanilla-friendly magnet datapack for Minecraft Java Edition. It pulls dropped items and experience orbs straight to you without entity spam, tick lag, or clunky mechanics.

What it does

• Mainhand & Offhand support: Hold it in your main hand or offhand while mining, farming, or fighting.
• Right-Click Toggle: Turn the magnet ON or OFF instantly. The item glints when active with audio feedback.
• Drop Protection: Items you throw on purpose (using Q) won't snap back into your inventory.
• Zero tick lag: Only runs when an active magnet is held in hand.

Progression & Recipes

• Tier I (Electromagnetic Pulser): 8-block item suction. Crafted in the crafting table with Iron Ingots, a Warped Fungus on a Stick, a Redstone Block, and a Lapis Block.
• Tier II (Superconducting Core): 16-block item suction and 8-block XP suction. Upgraded in the Smithing Table with a Netherite Template, Tier I Magnet, and a Diamond Block.
• Tier III (Quantum Singularity Master): Configurable up to 32 blocks for both items and XP. Forged in the Smithing Table with a Netherite Template, Tier II Magnet, and a Netherite Ingot.

In-Game Filter Menu (Tier III)

Sneak + Right-Click with Tier III to configure category filters directly in chat:

• All Other Items: Toggle general miscellaneous loot, blocks, and tools.
• Valuables & Ores: Ores, Diamonds, Netherite, Ancient Debris, and rare items.
• Junk Blocks: Dirt, Cobblestone, Stone, Gravel, and Netherrack.
• Hostile Mob Drops: Bones, Gunpowder, Ender Pearls, and Blaze Rods.
• Passive / Food: Meat, Leather, Feathers, and Wool.
• Experience Orbs: Toggle XP suction.
• Pick Range: Switch between 8m, 16m, and 32m.

• /function magnetic_pulse:init — Resets and reinitializes scoreboards
• /function magnetic_pulse:open_gui — Opens Tier III config menu directly

Optional Resource Pack

Includes an optional 16x16 companion texture pack:

• Distinct custom textures for each tier.
• Built with modern Minecraft item_model components (1.21.4+).
• Leaves standard vanilla textures unmodified.

How to Install

1. Put Magnetic_Attractor_By_IsadG_v1.0.0.zip into your world's datapacks folder.
2. Put Magnetic_Attractor_Resourcepack_v1.0.0.zip into your resourcepacks folder and enable it.
3. Run /reload in chat.
