NxTSpawn

A small, focused Paper plugin for managing a server's spawn point — nothing else.

Spun out of a larger private plugin because spawn handling doesn't need to drag along fifty unrelated features. If all you want is /spawn, /setspawn, and sane first-join / respawn behaviour, this is it.

Features

• /setspawn — set the server spawn at your current location
• /setspawn clear — remove it
• /spawn — teleport to the server spawn
• Teleport new players to spawn on their first join, with a configurable welcome message
• Optionally teleport returning players to spawn on every join (off by default)
• Send players to spawn on death, respecting beds and respawn anchors (configurable)
• All player-facing messages are editable in config.yml

Requirements

• Paper (or a Paper fork) for Minecraft 1.21.x
• Java 21

Installation

1. Grab the latest NxTSpawn.jar from Releases (or build it yourself, see below).
2. Drop it in your server's plugins/ folder.
3. Restart the server.
4. Stand where you want spawn to be and run /setspawn.

Commands & Permissions

nxtspawn.spawn defaults to false so you can decide whether /spawn is open to everyone or gated behind a rank — grant it through your permissions plugin (LuckPerms, etc.) as needed.

Edit and /reload (or restart) to apply changes.

Building from source

cd NxTSpawn
mvn clean package

The built jar will be in target/nxtspawn.jar.

Issues and pull requests are welcome. If you're proposing a new feature, open an issue first so we can discuss whether it fits the "just spawn" scope of this plugin — for anything bigger, it probably belongs in a different plugin entirely.
