LiveSystem

LiveSystem is a configurable life-management plugin for Minecraft Paper servers, designed to add a risk-and-reward system to survival gameplay. Players begin with a limited number of lives, lose a life whenever they die, and are temporarily eliminated when their lives reach zero.

The plugin is built to be flexible and easy to configure, allowing server owners to customize the starting lives, maximum lives, elimination duration, revival mechanics, warnings, particles, and language.

Features

How It Works

Each player starts with a configurable number of lives. Whenever a player dies, one life is removed.

When a player's lives reach 0, LiveSystem automatically eliminates them from the server by applying a temporary ban. After the configured ban duration expires, the player can return with the configured number of lives.

Players can also be revived manually by administrators. If the Nether Star feature is enabled, players can use Nether Stars to gain additional lives without requiring an administrator.

Configuration

LiveSystem provides a simple config.yml for controlling the main gameplay mechanics:

This allows server owners to create anything from a strict hardcore-style system to a more forgiving survival experience.

Permissions

• lives.use - Allows players to use /lives show for themselves.
• lives.admin - Allows administrators to manage player lives and revivals.

LiveSystem is designed for Minecraft Paper servers using Java 21 and provides support for modern Paper API versions.
