BlindnessSprintFix

Allows sprinting during Blindness by pressing the sprint key. No mods, no dependencies — just drop in and go on Paper 26.2.

Usage

1. Place the jar file into your plugins/ folder
2. Restart the server or run /reload confirm
3. Apply the Blindness effect to a player
4. Hold W + Sprint key to sprint

No commands or config files. The plugin activates automatically for any player with the Blindness effect.

How It Works

• Listens to PlayerInputEvent to detect sprint key press/release
• Applies hidden Speed II (amplifier=1, no particles, no icon) while sprint key is held
• Removes the effect instantly when the key is released
• Uses metadata to track sprint state reliably across event timing
