Skybreaker Removes the Overworld's vertical build limit. That's it — no new blocks, items, or gameplay changes, just more room to build up.
What it does Versions How New limit 1.17.1, 1.18.2, 1.20.1 – 26.2 Dimension type datapack override Y=2032 (the engine's technical ceiling) 1.16.5 Mixins (world height wasn't a datapack setting yet) Y=512 Supported versions Fabric: 1.16.5 · 1.17.1 · 1.18.2 · 1.20.1 · 1.20.4 · 1.21.1 · 1.21.4 · 26.1 · 26.2 Forge: 1.16.5 · 1.17.1 · 1.18.2 · 1.20.1 · 1.20.4 · 1.21.1 · 1.21.4 · 26.1 · 26.2
No dependencies — just drop the jar in your mods folder.
Notes New worlds only. On 1.17.1+, the dimension type is baked into a world at creation, so the raised limit only applies to worlds created after installing the mod. 1.16.5 is capped at Y=512, not higher — the chunk-section network bitmask is a 32-bit int, so going further would need a packet format change, not just constants. On 1.16.5, worlds visited before installing/updating the mod may carry partial chunk data from the old height limit — create a fresh world if you see odd behavior.
