SkiesPlots

Rent it. Build it. Keep it alive.

SkiesPlots lets your players rent private, fully protected land plots using your server's economy. Each plot is a safe space to build a base, store loot, and run farms, kept alive by a simple daily upkeep. Miss a payment and the plot returns to the market for the next player. No griefing, no fuss.

Features

How it works

  1. An admin grabs the selection wand (/plot wand), clicks two corners, and runs /plot create <id> to define a cuboid plot of any size.
  2. A player stands in an available plot and runs /plot rent to claim it.
  3. The owner keeps it with /plot pay <days>, charged at the daily upkeep rate.
  4. If the rental lapses, the owner loses the plot, trust is cleared, and it becomes available again (optionally wiped back to air).

Requirements

JDBC drivers and the connection pool are downloaded automatically on first launch — no extra downloads needed. SQLite works out of the box; MySQL is a one-line config switch.

Installation

  1. Install Vault and an economy plugin.
  2. Drop SkiesPlots.jar into your plugins/ folder.
  3. Restart the server, then edit config.yml / messages.yml to taste and run /plot reload.

Storage

Plots persist their id, world, region, owner, trusted members, and rental expiry to SQLite (default) or MySQL. Reads come from memory; writes are flushed on a background thread so your TPS never takes the hit.

Quick facts

Install steps are the general flow for this file type — How to install Minecraft Java mods & modpacks walks through it step by step.
