Chaos Complications is a Minecraft Bedrock Edition addon that turns normal survival into a constantly changing challenge full of random events, unexpected complications, dangerous situations, and complete chaos.

 

You can prepare your base, collect resources, craft powerful equipment, and plan your next move — but you will never know what will happen when the next timer ends.

 

The world is no longer predictable.

 

Every challenge can change the situation.

📖 HOW TO START

 

Before playing, make sure the required experimental features are enabled.

 

⚙️ REQUIRED SETTINGS

 

Go to:

 

World Settings → Experiments → Beta APIs → ON

 

Make sure the Chaos Complications addon is also activated in your world.

 

After everything is enabled, you can start your challenge.

🌱 YOUR FIRST TASK

 

When you enter the world, your first objective is extremely simple:

 

Mine 1 Dirt Block.

 

That's all.

 

Once you have obtained one dirt block, use it to craft the special item:

Crafting Recipe:

 

1 × Dirt → 1 × Book of Complications

 

The book is the main control item of the addon.

 

Take the book in your hand and use it to open the Chaos Complications menu.

📕 THE BOOK OF COMPLICATIONS

 

The Book of Complications is your main interface for controlling the addon.

 

From the book menu you can access different options, including:

Once the challenge starts, the timer begins counting down.

 

When the timer reaches zero, a new random complication appears.

 

You will then have to deal with the situation and continue surviving.

⏱️ THE CHAOS TIMER

 

The default timer is:

 

45 seconds

 

Every 45 seconds, a new event can occur.

 

However, the timer can be customized.

 

The available range is:

 

15–180 seconds

 

Examples:

 

⚡ 15 seconds — Extreme chaos

🔥 30 seconds — Fast-paced

⚔️ 45 seconds — Default

🛡️ 60 seconds — More time to prepare

⏳ 120 seconds — Slow chaos

💀 180 seconds — One event every 3 minutes

 

Choose the timer that matches your preferred playstyle.

🎮 GAME MODES

 

Chaos Complications supports multiple player configurations.

 

👤 SINGLE PLAYER

 

Play completely alone.

 

Every complication affects your own survival.

 

You choose between the available challenges and try to survive for as long as possible.

👥 TWO PLAYERS

 

Play together with another player.

 

The chaos becomes much more interesting when two players have to deal with unexpected events.

👥 THREE PLAYERS

 

Three players can participate in the same challenge.

 

Work together, compete against each other, or simply see who can survive the longest.

👥 FOUR PLAYERS

 

The maximum supported configuration.

 

With four players, the world can become extremely unpredictable.

 

Nobody knows what the next event will be.

🎲 RANDOM COMPLICATIONS

 

The main feature of the addon is its large collection of random complications.

 

Every event is selected dynamically, meaning that you cannot reliably predict what will happen next.

 

Possible events may include:

 

🧟 Zombies appearing nearby

💀 Skeletons appearing

🕷️ Spiders appearing

💥 Creepers appearing

🐝 Bees appearing

🦇 Bats appearing

🐔 Animals appearing

🌎 Changes to the surrounding environment

🧪 Temporary status effects

📍 Unexpected teleportation

🎒 Inventory-related events

💨 Knockback and movement changes

🔥 Dangerous situations

🧱 Unexpected blocks

🧪 STATUS EFFECTS

 

Some complications can temporarily affect the player.

 

Possible effects include:

 

• Weakness

• Slowness

• Hunger

• Nausea

• Blindness

• Darkness

• Poison

• Levitation

• Jump Boost

• Slow Falling

• Mining Fatigue

 

Different complications can have different durations.

🌎 WORLD CHANGES

 

Chaos Complications can affect the environment around you.

 

Unexpected blocks may appear around the player, creating new obstacles or changing the terrain.

 

Possible changes include:

 

🕸️ Cobwebs

🟫 Sand

🟩 Slime Blocks

🧊 Ice

🟤 Dirt

❄️ Snow

🌿 Leaves

🟢 Moss

 

The environment can change without warning.

🎒 INVENTORY CHAOS

 

Some complications can interact with your hotbar or inventory.

 

Depending on the event, you may have to deal with:

 

• Unexpected items

• Changed hotbar positions

• Dropped items

• Sudden inventory changes

• Items appearing unexpectedly

 

Because of this, you should always be prepared for something unexpected.

The higher the difficulty, the more unpredictable the experience becomes.

Complications become significantly more dangerous.

One unexpected event can completely change your situation.
