Dugie's Savanna is a full overhaul of one of Minecraft's most overlooked biomes — rebuilt from the ground up with a real material identity, a signature tree that finally deserves the word "iconic," and enough small details that you'll still be finding new ones a week in.
A tree worth building a world around.
The baobab is the heart of this pack — two full-size variants towering over the grassland, each one grown from a sapling through real stages, each one eventually bearing fruit you can actually harvest. Knock a ripe fruit down with an arrow if you're feeling impatient. The wood itself comes as a complete, vanilla-parity set: planks, stairs, slabs, fences, doors, trapdoors, signs — even its own boat and chest boat, fully seaworthy.

What's Surfacing?
Two new stone-and-earth families run through the terrain — Strata, a layered rock that surfaces as boulders and jagged peaks, and Clay Loam, a warmer, reddish ground type with its own grassy variant, its own dirt paths, and a vein of iron ore running through it that even a shovel can dig out. Both come as full building sets: bricks, polished forms, stairs, slabs, walls. Dense Dirt also occasionally generates in the biome mixed within the casual grass terrain.

The structured recipe of Clay Loam Blocks are as follows:

I'm in Shingles.
Sixteen full shingle sets — every dye color, every one with its own stairs and slabs.

Did they Stay here?
Scattered through the grassland: half-collapsed stays, full camps built from clusters of them, and — if you're lucky enough to find one — a baobab tree that grew up wrapped around an old campsite, vines and rope still holding. Every one of them has various amounts of loot, some better than others.

Dry as Thatch.
Thatch is a new roofing block that would fit well in your next build. Made from haybales and wheat while standing as the primary ingredient for our next block.

It's stretched Taut!
A new Mechanical Block called a Taut can be used as a Trampoline in your world. Useful for making your way up to those high hanging baobab fruits. It also has a redstone variant that emmits a signal whenever an entity bounces on it.
Crafted with Leather, Loose Thatch and string:

Crafted with Leather, Loose Thatch, String and Redstone:

Tauts won't stay perfect forever as they will wear down after a number of uses.
A Taut will wear out after every 64 bounces.
Bounce Heights are:
• Fresh = 12 Blocks
• Slightly Worn = 8 Blocks
• Very Worn = 6 Blocks

To repair a Taut you can either break the block and place it in a grid alongside leather to regain a fully repaired Taut or you can right-click (interact), with a Taut holding leather to repair it that way.

Tauts are not stackable.
Players, Mobs and Items can all bounce on Tauts.

We Tussle, We Tassle.
The Tassleflower is a new plant that generates commonly in the biome. It can be used to make yellow dye if that's what you're into.

Toodles To:

NearBear for not only playtesting but also helping me get the boats to work properly in the add-on. Check out his add-on Glammed Abysses, really good add-on.

That's All Folks!
This add-on is a passion project meant to show my love for the Bedrock community. I have many more ideas waiting to be made it's all coming very soon.
