A jukebox plays one disc, once, for whoever is standing on top of it.

Right-click it. Fill a playlist. Decide how far the music carries and how loud.

Minecraft 26.2 · Java 25 · Paper or Spigot

Every server ends up wanting music somewhere. A lobby that isn't dead silent. A shop district with something playing under the noise. An arena that gets loud when the fight starts. The vanilla jukebox gives you one disc, played once, audible to about four people — so servers either give up on it or bolt on a resource pack nobody downloads.

JukeboxControl turns the block that is already there into a proper sound system.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

What your players will actually do with it
  • Give the lobby a soundtrack that loops all day without anyone touching it
  • Wire up the arena so the whole ring hears the same track, and nobody outside does
  • Run a shop district on low volume and a short radius, one jukebox per building
  • Build a club where the music follows the room instead of the block
  • Keep the library quiet — 16 blocks, 10% volume, and it stays where it belongs
  • Set the mood for an event and stop it from chat the moment it's over
Nothing is global. Every jukebox keeps its own playlist, its own radius and its own volume, and none of them knows the others exist.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

The music actually reaches people
This is the part that makes or breaks a jukebox plugin. A radius that only means "within earshot of the block" isn't a radius.
  • Set the hearing radius per jukebox, from 16 up to 64 blocks
  • Set the volume per jukebox, from 10% to 100%, on top of that radius
  • Track lengths are read from the server, so the next song starts when the last one ends — not thirty seconds early
  • Walk out of range and back and the music is still where it should be, not restarted from the top
  • A player who arrives mid-track either waits for the next one or hears it from the beginning — your call, one setting

Features

The panel
  • Right-click a jukebox with an empty hand and the control panel opens — no command to teach anyone
  • Up to 28 discs per jukebox, across two pages
  • Add a disc by right-clicking with it, shift-clicking it in, or dragging it onto a slot
  • Loop, shuffle and autostart, each a switch that stays set
  • The track that is playing glows, so you can see the state at a glance
What it will play
  • Every vanilla disc, including the ones added in future updates — no hand-written list to go stale
  • Custom discs from datapacks, as long as they are playable in a vanilla jukebox
  • Each player sees the track name in their own language, because the name comes from their client
Making it feel like yours
  • Any button can wear a custom head — paste the Base64, the texture URL or just the hash, whichever your head catalogue gives you
  • Toggle buttons can use a different head per state, so the icon itself shows on or off
  • Or keep it simple and pick a material per button
  • Note particles above a jukebox that is playing, on or off
  • A bad texture falls back to the material and tells you which one broke — the panel never breaks
Per-option permissions
  • Every button has its own permission node, not one node for the whole plugin
  • Sell shuffle to a rank, keep stop for staff, let everyone else just press play
  • A button the player cannot use is either shown locked or hidden entirely — your choice
  • Any button can override its node, so you can point it at a rank you already have
Every single word is translatable
  • English and Brazilian Portuguese included
  • Any other language works too — drop the file in and point at it
  • It is not just the chat: the panel title, every button name, every description and every on/off label live in the language file
  • A half-finished translation falls back to English instead of showing your players raw keys
  • Your language file is never overwritten by an update
It survives the world
  • Break the jukebox and the playlist drops at your feet
  • Explosions and fire are handled the same way — no music playing forever from a block that is gone
  • Push it with a piston and the playlist goes with it
  • Land protection is respected: a break your protection plugin refuses changes nothing

Requirements
Minecraft 26.2 and Java 25, on Paper or Spigot.

Paper is recommended for one reason: it lets the plugin read a disc's track straight from the item, which is how custom datapack discs are picked up without any configuration. On Spigot a datapack disc works too, as long as it carries its playable data on the item itself. Every vanilla disc works on both. Folia is not supported.
