HubUtils
Pretty much everything your hub server needs, packed into one plugin.
Pretty much everything your hub server needs, packed into one plugin.
What is this? For 1.21.8 MC!
I wrote HubUtils because I got tired of downloading 10-15 different plugins and trying to make them play nice together just to set up a hub server. Lobbies, cosmetics, parties/guilds/friends, pets, parkour, an economy, a level system and BungeeCord support are all in one place, and they actually talk to each other - the party leader dragging everyone along when they switch lobbies, your level showing up in the tab list, parkour paying out both coins and EXP, that sort of thing. The config files are full of comments explaining what each option does, so you shouldn't need to open the source code just to figure out a setting.
Main Features
Lobby System
- Define as many lobbies as you want, each with its own spawn point
- Players in different lobbies can't see each other, can't see each other's chat, and don't show up for each other in the tab list (bypassable with a permission)
- Lobby switching works both as a command and through a GUI menu
- A lobby doesn't have to live on this server anymore - it can point to a different server behind BungeeCord/Velocity instead (more on that below)
Cosmetics & Coin Economy
- 14+ animated particle effects - not just a static point, but actual patterns: orbiting around your head, rising in a spiral, an expanding/shrinking ring, flapping wings...
- The wing cosmetics actually look like wings - Angel Wings, Bone Wings (made of flying bone icons), Skeleton Wings (made of flying skull icons)
- 8 different hat cosmetics
- Most cosmetics cost coins and are bought from the menu; once purchased they're yours for good
- Earn coins from the daily reward (/daily), and a bit more every time you finish the parkour course
Party System (Hypixel-style)
- Invite/accept/deny, leader and moderator roles, transferring leadership, party chat, /party warp to pull everyone to you
- Party members can optionally move with the leader automatically - when the leader changes lobby, or even switches to a different server over BungeeCord, the party follows
- Party members glow gold to each other, so you can spot your own party in a crowd at a glance
Friends System
- Unlike a party, this is permanent - your friends list survives a server restart
- You get notified when a friend logs in or out
Guilds
- Persistent, multi-member communities with their own name and tag
- Invites, kicking, disbanding, and a dedicated guild chat channel (/gc)
Pets
- Real mobs, not another particle effect - Wolf, Cat, Panda, Fox and more
- Silent, non-hostile, invulnerable, and they actually follow you around
- Your last chosen pet comes back automatically every time you join
Emotes
- Small "creatures" built entirely out of particles that play a short scripted animation
- Example: a tiny skeleton spirit shows up and pats your head affectionately (yes, creepy and cute on purpose)
- Has a cooldown so it can't be spammed
Parkour
- Set the start, checkpoints and finish line with a couple of quick commands
- Tracks your personal best and keeps a global leaderboard (/parkour top)
- Pays out coins and EXP on completion
Level System
- Earn EXP just by hanging around the hub, claiming your daily reward, or finishing parkour
- Your level shows up as a colored badge in the tab list and above your head
- Leveling up triggers fireworks, a sound, and a little celebration message
BungeeCord Support
- A server-selector menu (/server) shows live player counts for your backend game servers (BedWars, SkyWars, etc.) and connects players with one click
- Lobbies can be part of that network too - a "lobby" can be a location on this server, or it can be a second hub server behind the proxy
- Toggleable in config.yml both globally and per lobby - nothing is forced on
Join Inventory & Hub Items
- /setinventory saves your current inventory exactly as it is (items and slot layout included) as the template every new player receives
- Any hub item (compass, feather, etc.) can have a list of commands attached in config.yml - they run in order when the item is clicked, and any command starting with %console% runs from the console instead
- Lost or dropped a hub item? /givehubitem hands it right back, one at a time or all at once
General Hub Settings
- Block breaking/placing, item drop/pickup, hunger, damage, weather and mob spawning can all be toggled independently
- Double jump
- Vanish and "hide other players" - two separate features that work independently
Language Support
- Ships with both English and Turkish out of the box, switch with one line in config.yml
- Drop a new file with the same keys into the lang/ folder and point config.yml at it to add your own language

Config Layout (overview)
config.yml is split into a few main sections:
- language - which language file to use (en / tr)
- settings - protection toggles, double jump, join gamemode, etc.
- economy / parkour / emotes - reward amounts, cooldowns
- bungeecord - turn proxy support on/off, list of game servers
- scoreboard - sidebar on/off (the actual text lives in the lang file)
- lobbies - each lobby's location, or the BungeeCord server it points to instead
- hub-items - slot, name, material and optional command list for every hotbar item
Message text, the scoreboard title and the tab list are no longer in config.yml - they live in plugins/HubUtils/lang/en.yml (or tr.yml). Switching language is just a matter of changing the "language" line in config.yml.
Questions or suggestions are welcome, I keep updating this whenever I get the chance.
