The whole voting stack in one jar: it receives the votes and pays for them

Server lists send players your way and pay you in traffic when those players vote. Receiving that vote and paying for it are usually two separate jobs, with a plugin for each and a stretch of configuration between them.
Ember Voting does both, and is set up with two commands.
It receives the votes itself
Both protocols the server lists use, so there is no second plugin to install and nothing to wire together. Anything on your server already listening for votes keeps working untouched.
Two commands
/voting setup prints every field a vote site's form asks for, click-to-copy, and tells you whether the port is actually open.
/voting editor is everything else: rewards, milestones, the vote party, the shop and the site links. No file editing, no restart.
Rewards built in game
- Every vote, a player's first vote, all sites in one day, milestones, a vote party, and last month's top voter
- A reward is commands, an item, or both - with a chance, a permission, a site filter and an optional condition
- Items are copied exactly, so a renamed, enchanted, custom-model item from another plugin arrives intact
The vote party
A server-wide counter. When it reaches the number you set, everyone online is paid the party reward list and fireworks go up, with progress announced along the way.
It is a payout, not a minigame - there is no mob to fight and nothing to click. If you already run a party plugin that spawns something, leave this off and point a party board at that plugin's counter instead, so your players see one number rather than two.
Points and a shop
Votes pay a currency and players spend it in a built-in shop. A point can be an internal counter, your Vault economy, an Ember Coins currency, or a real item players carry and trade. This shop is simple, and a way to add basic things or custom items in they can redeem the vote points for.
Leaderboards in the world
Floating panels showing top voters, this month, streaks, points or vote party progress. Placed where you stand and nudged into position with a hotbar of tools, not by typing coordinates.
A whole network, no proxy plugin
Point the sites at one server. With MySQL every server sees the vote within seconds, the one the player is standing on pays the rewards, everyone broadcasts, and the vote party bar is shared.
Everything else
- Daily streaks, monthly totals and a leaderboard
- Vote reminders, and a title, sound and firework when a vote lands
- Offline votes queue and pay at the next login, milestones and all
- Bedrock players matched through their prefix automatically
- JavaScript conditions on rewards, for the servers that want them
- PlaceholderAPI: totals, streaks, points, party progress and the top lists
Commands
Players
- /vote — the vote links, plus their totals, streak and points
- /vote top — the leaderboard, all time and this month
- /vote party — how far the vote party has filled
- /vote shop — spend vote points
Staff
- /voting setup — every field a vote site's form asks for, click-to-copy
- /voting editor — rewards, milestones, party, shop and the site links
- /voting status — port, tokens, votes received, rejected, queued, storage, network
- /voting board add|move|remove|list — leaderboard holograms
- /voting points <player> <give|take|set> <n> — adjust a balance
- /voting js <expression> — try a reward condition before you save it
- /voting test <player> [site] — run a vote through the whole pipeline
- /voting token <site> — a token for one site · /voting key — the RSA public key
- /voting reload — reload config and rewards, reopen the port
/voting also answers to /evoting, /votify and /ballot. /testvote is an alias of /voting test.
Permissions
Two nodes, because the interesting access control lives on the rewards themselves.
- embervoting.vote — use /vote and its pages (default: everyone)
- embervoting.admin — setup, the editor, boards, tokens, points, test votes, reload (default: op)
Donor tiers need nothing extra here. Any reward can require any permission node you like, so a bigger payout for a rank is one field in the editor:
Code (Text):
# give the rank a node, then put that node on the reward
lp group vip permission set myserver.vote.bonus true
With PlaceholderAPI installed: %embervoting_total%, _month, _streak, _points, _sites_today, _sites_total, _last, _party_count, _party_needed, _party_left, and the leaderboards _top_1_name / _top_1_votes and _topmonth_1_name / _topmonth_1_votes for any position.
Requirements
- Paper, Purpur or Folia, 1.21.1 through 26.2 - one jar
- Java 21 or newer
- Requires nothing. Optional: PlaceholderAPI, Vault, Ember Coins, MySQL
