Trailer: Modpack Trailer

Summary

'The Survival Frontier' focuses on transforming Minecraft into a hardcore survival with elements of semi-realism. This modpack is HARD, for people who want a challenge, and like survival. You will probably die multiple times before being able to survive. I started this project a year and a half ago with the main goal to make Minecraft how I want it to be. Around 300 hours later, I feel like I have made a good alpha version. This modpack was semi-inspired by RL Craft therefore this pack is NOT for the weak.

Before you begin playing this modpack, you should know some things. First, when you download this modpack default settings will already be installed with it. Keep these settings exactly the same and only change them if it is very much needed. Controls are: Crouch: C, 6th slot: R, 7th slot: F, 8th slot: X, 9th slot: Z, and Skill tree: G. Do not change any modded config in the settings as this could unintentionally alter the game (especially temperature mod). It is recommended to play on a server for this modpack if you know how to create one. Singleplayer works too, however things such as logout cooldown and not being able to preload the world with the mod Chunky and Distant Horizons will be a limitation in singleplayer. Since this modpack is in alpha, there may be some bugs or glitches you encounter. Email derrickbackup14@gmail.com about bugs/feedback!

Overall, when you download the modpack DO NOT change settings such as FOV and other things.

If you make a multiplayer server, mainly do commands through console but also turn off the mod in server: nocreativemode

If you want to play the modpack without playing in hardcore, go to the config folder and search for global and look for something like "globalgamerules." Go into it and set hardcore = false. Also go into Kube JS folder and go to server scripts then delete death ban.

Some bugs and glitches I know about right now are: -After seeing the logout cooldown screen you have to reboot the modpack instance -In creative mode on a server game acts like you are in survival sometimes

Rules

Some general rules I think you should follow when playing:

-No looking stuff up on internet

-No changing settings unless have to

-No using very technical stuff in f3

-No using unfair stuff ( glitches, case by case)

-Since every player has a random spawnpoint, a new player is allowed to teleport to one player they know to start their experience(only if its their first time on the world) (do this through console)
