⛏️ Miner Helmet Addon

Tired of spamming torches every time you dig into a new tunnel? Miner Helmet gives you a wearable head-lamp that lights your way automatically — no torches, no placing blocks, no interrupting your mining flow. Just put the helmet on and go.

The addon adds two upgradeable engineer helmets, each combining armor protection with a real, moving light source that follows you as you walk, run, sprint, or jump through the deepest caves.

🔦 How It Works

Each helmet acts as a personal, invisible light source. The moment you equip it, the addon tracks your position in real time and keeps a soft light glowing right where you stand — even while running or jumping — so dark caves, mineshafts, and deep tunnels are never a problem again. Take the helmet off, and the light disappears with you.

🔵 Trainee Engineer Helmet

An entry-level headlamp built for early exploration.

Light Level: 10

Armor Protection: 1 (equivalent to an Iron Helmet)

Crafted from: Iron Helmet + Lantern + Blue Dye

🟡 Professional Engineer Helmet

A top-tier headlamp for serious miners who want maximum protection and maximum light.

Light Level: 15 (the maximum light level in Minecraft)

Armor Protection: 2 (equivalent to a Diamond Helmet)

Crafted from: Diamond Helmet + Glowstone + Black Dye

📋 Requirements

Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.26.0 or higher

Experimental "Beta APIs" toggle must be enabled in your world settings, since this addon uses the @minecraft/server scripting module

📥 Installation

Download the .mcaddon file.

Open it with Minecraft Bedrock Edition — it will import automatically.

Go to your world settings and apply both the Miner Helmet Addon - Resource Pack and Miner Helmet Addon - Behavior Pack.

Enable Beta APIs under Experiments before creating/entering your world.

Craft a helmet, equip it, and head underground!
