Extended Heart Loss is an add-on for Matcha Flavoured that raises the stakes of dying. Each death permanently strips away one heart of your maximum health, stepping you down from 10 hearts to 1, one heart at a time.
Die with only your last heart remaining, and it's a "final stand": your entire inventory — main inventory, hotbar, armor, and offhand — is dropped on the ground right where you fell and then cleared, while your max health resets back to a fresh 10 hearts. A second chance, at the cost of everything you were carrying.
