Elysium is themed around electromagnetic forces powered by light! It includes machines such as repulsors, gravitators, shocking electrodes, searing laser prisms, and flamethrowing cheirosiphons.

Many of the machines from elysium are displayed, along with an Armor Stand wearing Elysium Armor. It is being zapped by an Elysium Electrode.

Elysium

Elysium is an alloy crafted with Copper and Netherite Scrap.

When lit on fire, Elysium Blocks burn a curious teal color.

Armor

You can upgrade Diamond Armor to Elysium Armor with four Elysium Ingots in the Smithing Table. On Minecraft version 1.20.1 and above, you'll also need an Elysium Upgrade Smithing Template, which can be found in Buried Treasure Chests.

Elysium Armor has a unique mechanic: when you take damage, it accumulates charge. When charged, Elysium Armor has a chance of zapping anything which attacks you, or which you attack. When an entity is zapped, it gets the Voltage effect for a few seconds, rendering it more vulnerable to damage.

Weaponry

The Cheirosiphon is a flamethrower made from Elysium. It uses Fire Charges from your inventory to fuel itself, shooting a spray of teal fire.

Don't use the Cheirosiphon for too long, or it will overheat!

Machines

Elysium contains a few machines. Each is powered by light: place a Redstone Lamp behind a machine to power it. Machines can also be underpowered by a Dim Selflit Redstone Lamp, or overpowered by a Brilliant Selflit Redstone Lamp.

Craft an Elysium Prism and place it in a Beacon Beam to harness the power of the Beacon into light. The beam which comes out of the Prism can power an Elysium machine stronger than any other power source. The beam can also be used as a weapon, burning mobs and players.

The Elysium Gravitators and Repulsors push entities towards and away from themselves, respectively. Some entities are more magnetic (e.g. Iron Golems), as are some armor sets.

Electrodes attack mobs and players with electric shocks. They charge up slowly when powered, then release it at once. Electrodes perform differently depending on whether they have a Lightning Rod placed on top of them: with a Lightning Rod, they have more range and do more damage, but only to one target: they use up all their charge at once; without a Lightning Rod, they can zap multiple close entities in quick succession, using less charge for each zap.

Electrodes will not attack the player who placed them. Also, you can make other players or mobs be immune too: name an item (with an Anvil) with the exact name of the player you want to be immune, then place it inside the Electrode's inventory.

Other Stuff

There's a couple of other items, mostly they are for CSMP lore reasons, are experiments which are unfinished, or are jokes.
