DESCRIPTION

This mod is fully complete, and will only update to fix bugs.

Adds 3 variants of praying mantis! They are neutral mobs, can be tamed, hunt bees and grasshoppers if not tamed, and have different stats based on their coloration.

ENTITIES

Adds multiple variants of praying mantises, inluding:

• Blossom Mantis - Low health, high speed and damage. (Spawns in Cherry Groves and Lush Caves)

• Bark Mantis - Medium health, medium speed and damage, high knockback. (Spawns in Taigas, Badlands, Deserts, and Spruce Forests)

• Brush Mantis - High health, low speed and damage, mid knockback. (Spawns in most Forests and all open Grassy Plains)

Also adds the Grasshopper

• Grasshopper (Rare spawn when breaking grass, bushes, and ferns)

ITEMS

Both of these items can tame the mantises

• Grasshopper - Food, Tame item

• Seared Grasshopper - Food, Tame item

BLOCKS

Each Ootheca is colored based on the mantis type that will hatch

• Green Ootheca - Hatches Brush Mantis, found in grass, bushes, oak leaves, and birch leaves

• Brown Ootheca - Hatches Bark Mantis, found in both dead grass variants, dead bushes, and acacia leaves

• Pink Ootheca - Hatches Blossom Mantis, found in pink petals, both variants of azalea leaves, and cherry leaves
