LifestealWorld
A 1x1 replica of the real LifestealWorld plugin — every mechanic, every system, faithfully recreated.
🫀 Core Lifesteal
The foundation of everything. Kill players to steal their hearts — lose one when you die.
- Kill a player → steal 1 heart from them, gain 1 yourself. Both players are notified.
- Die to a player → lose 1 heart to them
- Players at the minimum heart floor cannot lose hearts, and their killer gains nothing
- Hearts persist through restarts and are correctly re-applied after every respawn
- Hearts cannot be crafted or absorbed while at 10 or more hearts — the only way to gain hearts above 10 is by killing players
Heart Limits
| Setting | Default |
|---|---|
| Starting hearts | 10 |
| Minimum (Week 1) | 3 hearts |
| Minimum (Week 2) | 1 heart |
| Maximum | 20 hearts |
💎 Crafted Hearts
Hearts exist as physical craftable items that can be held and consumed.
Recipe:
[Trial Key] [Ghast Tear] [Trial Key]
[Ghast Tear] [Eye of Ender] [Ghast Tear]
[Trial Key] [Ghast Tear] [Trial Key]
- Renders as a Nether Star with an enchantment glint
- Displayed as Crafted Heart in orange italic text
- Right-click to absorb and gain +1 heart instantly
- Shift-right-clicking does nothing — prevents accidental absorbs near containers
- Hearts can only be absorbed up to 10 hearts — above that, only killing players can increase your count
Storage Restrictions
Crafted Hearts are fully protected from any form of storage or automation:
- Cannot be placed into chests, barrels, shulker boxes, bundles, shelves, or any other container
- Cannot be moved via hoppers or minecart hoppers — neither from containers nor from the ground
- Dragging, shift-clicking, and number-key swapping into containers are all blocked
- Powered shelf hotbar swaps are blocked both on direct click and via redstone chain
📅 Week System
Controls the minimum heart floor for the entire server. Changing the week broadcasts a server-wide title and message with a sound.
- Week 1 (default) — players cannot drop below 3 hearts
- Week 2 — players cannot drop below 1 heart
🌍 World Border
The world border is applied to every dimension (overworld, nether, end) simultaneously and persists through restarts.
- Week 1 — 5,000 × 5,000 blocks (10,000 diameter)
- Week 2 — 20,000 × 20,000 blocks (40,000 diameter)
- Both sizes are fully configurable in
config.yml - Changing the border broadcasts a title and message to all players
🛡️ PvP Immunity
After dying to another player, a player receives 30 minutes of PvP immunity — a live countdown ticks in their action bar. Dying to natural causes (mobs, fall, fire, etc.) does not grant immunity.
- All player-sourced damage is completely blocked: direct hits, arrows, potions, explosions, fireballs, lingering clouds — anything originating from another player
- Non-player damage (mobs, fall, fire, hunger, etc.) applies normally
- Immunity is immediately stripped the moment the immune player equips any piece of armor or lands a hit on another player
- Duration is fully configurable in
config.yml
⚗️ Strength II Potions
Strength II potions last 8 minutes instead of the vanilla 1:30.
- Applies to both drinkable and splash variants
- Works on all living entities hit by a splash
- Fully configurable — toggle or adjust the duration in
config.yml
🏹 Enchantment Caps
The following enchantments are hard-capped regardless of how they are obtained.
| Enchantment | Max Level |
|---|---|
| Power | IV |
| Sharpness | III |
| Protection | III |
Blocked at the enchanting table (both display and application), via books on an anvil, and by combining two items on an anvil. All caps are configurable in config.yml.
⚒️ Netherite Restrictions
Only specific tools may be upgraded to Netherite at the smithing table.
| Tool / Armor | Upgradeable |
|---|---|
| Pickaxe | ✅ |
| Shovel | ✅ |
| Hoe | ✅ |
| Sword | ❌ |
| Axe | ❌ |
| All Armor | ❌ |
🔨 The Mace
Only 1 Mace may exist on the entire server at any time.
- The vanilla crafting recipe is permanently disabled
- The custom recipe is disabled by default and must be enabled via
/mace enableor config
Custom Recipe:
[Heavy Core]
[Dragon Egg]
[Breeze Rod]
If a Mace already exists anywhere on the server — in an inventory or dropped on the ground — crafting is blocked and the result slot stays empty.
💥 TNT Minecarts
TNT Minecarts deal a maximum of 7 hearts of damage to players regardless of proximity or stacking. The cap is enforced after armor and protection reduction so armored players still receive the full 7-heart cap. Configurable in config.yml.
🌬️ Breeze Double Loot
Killing a Breeze drops twice the normal items and XP.
- Applies to all drops — breeze rods, any other loot, and experience orbs
- Toggleable in
config.yml
👁️ Invisibility
When either the killer or the victim has the Invisibility effect, the death message is suppressed entirely — neither player's name appears in chat.
🧑🤝🧑 Villager Trades
All villager trades automatically restock once per trade session (every time a player opens the trade GUI). Closing and reopening the menu starts a fresh session.
🌍 End Dimension
End Portal
- Filling end portal frames with Eyes of Ender is disabled by default
- Must be explicitly enabled by an admin via
/endportal enable
Ender Dragon
- Spawns with 2× health (400 HP instead of 200) — applies to both the initial spawn and all respawns
- The player dealing the most damage is shown live on everyone's action bar in red — updates in real time. Shows "No damage dealt yet" before the first hit
- When the dragon dies the action bar clears
- The Dragon Egg is not spawned on the bedrock pillar — it is given directly to the top damage dealer. Drops at their location if their inventory is full
- Dragon tracking resumes automatically if the server restarts mid-fight
☠️ The Purge
A high-stakes two-stage mode. Heart crafting and withdrawing are disabled for its entire duration.
Stage 1 (default on start)
- 2 hearts per kill instead of 1
- Heart crafting and withdrawing disabled
- Any player who dies at 1 heart is permanently banned
Stage 2
- 3 hearts per kill
- The End dimension is sealed — all players inside are teleported to the overworld spawn and end portals stop working
- Players in the Nether receive a permanent Wither effect until they leave
- Immediate respawn gamerule is enabled
- The player locator bar is enabled for all players
- The world border shrinks from 10,000 → 500 blocks over 3 hours, with a live countdown in the action bar
- Ban on death at 1 heart remains active
Ending the purge restores the world border, removes all wither effects, re-enables the End portal to its pre-purge state, turns off immediate respawn, and re-enables heart crafting.
⚔️ The Final Reckoning
A 2-hour endgame countdown that concludes the season.
- PvP remains enabled for the full 2 hours — a live countdown ticks in everyone's action bar
- Cannot be started while the Purge is active
- When the timer expires (or an admin ends it early), all PvP is permanently disabled
- A title broadcast lists all surviving players by name
- Cannot be started while the Purge is active
🛡️ Grace Period
Disables all PvP server-wide for 1 hour. A countdown ticks in everyone's action bar.
- Pausing temporarily re-enables PvP — resuming disables it again for the remaining time
- Stopping permanently re-enables PvP with a server-wide title, broadcast, and sound
🏆 Advancement Hunt
All players race to earn the most advancements in 3 hours.
- All advancements are wiped from every online player on start
- Players who join mid-hunt have their advancements wiped immediately on join
- The countdown ticks in the action bar
- When time ends, a title broadcast announces the winner and 1st place name
- 1st place receives +3 hearts — overflow goes to inventory, then drops on the ground if full
- Sound plays server-wide when the hunt ends
🗡️ Assassins Event
A structured assassination event where every participant has a secret target.
- Admin announces the event — players opt in before it starts
- On start, targets are assigned in a circular chain and shown as a dark red title on each player's screen
- Kill your target → steal 2 hearts, inherit their target, and continue the chain
- Killing a player who is not your assigned target steals no hearts
- Die to anyone → eliminated from the event
- Disconnect mid-event → cleanly removed from the chain, your assassin is re-linked to your target
- The countdown ticks in the action bar for 4 hours
End Rewards — Top 5 by kills receive a raised heart cap:
| Placement | Heart Cap |
|---|---|
| 🥇 1st | 25 |
| 🥈 2nd | 24 |
| 🥉 3rd | 23 |
| 4th | 22 |
| 5th | 21 |
- Tied players share the same placement and bonus
- If a capped player dies in PvP their extra cap is lost and hearts reset to 20 — any hearts above 20 go to the killer, or drop if the killer is also at their cap
- Title and sound broadcast when the event ends, naming the 1st place player
🗺️ Locator Bar Event
Enables the player locator bar for a 2-hour window. All players are visible on the bar regardless of crouching, invisibility, or wearing carved pumpkins.
- Pausing disables the locator bar temporarily — resuming re-enables it
- Countdown ticks in the action bar
- Title and sound play when the event ends
🎒 Scavenger Hunt
Players race to collect 20 specific items in a set order within 3 hours. Each collected item is consumed from the player's inventory to prevent sharing exploits.
- Each player has their own independent progress
- The current required item and progress display in the action bar (
2/20 Next: Echo Shard), separated from the timer by a┃ - Collecting an item plays a sound and advances to the next
- Players who join mid-hunt start from item #1
- When time runs out the player with the highest item count wins
- Winner receives an unenchanted Netherite Chestplate — drops on the ground if inventory is full
- Title and sound play when the hunt ends, naming the winner
The 20 items in order:
Recovery Compass → Echo Shard → Goat Horn → Brush → Suspicious Stew → Music Disc 5 → Sniffer Egg → Flow Banner Pattern → Totem of Undying → Heart of the Sea → Nautilus Shell → Enchanted Golden Apple → Phantom Membrane → Disc Fragment 5 → Glow Ink Sac → Ominous Bottle → Warped Fungus on a Stick → Respawn Anchor → Bundle → Piglin Banner Pattern
