CommonRule

CommonRule lets players vote on admin commands, enabling shared server control without a permanent owner.

How it works

  1. A player enters a configured admin command, such as /weather clear.
  2. CommonRule validates the complete command and rejects it immediately if the syntax is invalid.
  3. A vote appears in a non-blocking boss bar for every eligible online player.
  4. Players vote with /vote yes or /vote no while continuing to play normally.
  5. If the vote meets the configured requirements, the command runs as the player who proposed it.

  1. Stop your Paper server.
  2. Place the CommonRule JAR in the plugins folder.
  3. Start the server to generate plugins/CommonRule/config.yml.
  4. Adjust the configuration and restart the server if needed.
