The Vortex Staff is a powerful close-range weapon that creates a deadly vortex when activated. Nearby players and mobs are pulled toward the wielder and trapped in the vortex for a short time.

 

Once the vortex reaches its limit, everything caught inside is violently launched outward, sending targets flying before they crash back down with an explosive impact. 💥

 

And yes—the Vortex Staff is capable of one-shotting players and mobs.

 

🌀 The Vortex

 

When activated, the staff pulls nearby entities toward you. After a short delay, the stored force is released, launching everything caught in the vortex away from you.

 

It's especially devastating against groups, making it useful for clearing mobs, PvP encounters, and generally causing absolute chaos.

 

⚠️ Power Comes With a Weakness

 

The Vortex Staff is extremely powerful, but it has one major drawback:

 

Its range is short.

 

You have to get dangerously close to your target to activate the vortex. Players who can keep their distance have a much better chance of avoiding it.

 

So while the staff can be devastating, positioning is everything.

 

⚒️ An Absurdly Difficult Recipe

 

The Vortex Staff is not designed to be easily obtainable in normal survival.

 

Its recipe requires:

 

- 🥚 2 Dragon Eggs

- 🧱 2 Bedrock

- 🟦 1 Beacon

- 🌊 2 Hearts of the Sea

- 💎 2 Netherite Ingots

 

Because Bedrock and additional Dragon Eggs cannot normally be obtained through standard survival gameplay, crafting the staff requires commands, duplication, creative mode, or another mod/addon that makes these materials obtainable.

 

The ridiculous recipe is intentional—the Vortex Staff is meant to feel like an extremely rare, endgame-level weapon.
