Blindsense
Blindsense is a challenge mod, created out of a distain for the current "blind" condition for "blind/deaf/mute" challenges, that completely removes your sight and forces you to rely on a simulated sense of touch to survive. This mod is client-side with some enhancements when used server-side too.
Features
Feel Your Surroundings: Sweep your crosshair over blocks and mobs to "feel" them. They appear briefly in greyscale or as a wireframe before fading out, allowing you to build a mental map of the room.
Live Memories: Your memories of blocks can be tied to the world. If you remember a door and someone else opens it, your ghost image of the door will remain unchanged.
Passive Senses: You can sense the exact shape of the block under your feet, leave fading footprints as you walk, feel the tension of a fishing line, and even perceive the frozen moment of an enemy the moment they strike you.
For Modpacks & Servers: Blindsense is server-authoritative and includes a small API, making it easy for admins or other mods to impose the blindness condition on specific players for custom challenge runs.
