# MusicHud-TuneWeave MusicHud TuneWeave coordinates shared music queues for players using compatible MusicHud TuneWeave clients. The plugin manages public playback state, queue requests, skip votes and client participation. The client mod provides music browsing, audio playback, the HUD and lyrics. ### Requirements - Players need the matching MusicHud TuneWeave client mod and its dependencies. - Use the Paper artifact for a standalone Paper server, or the Velocity artifact for a Velocity network. - The plugin targets Java 21 bytecode. Use a Java runtime that also satisfies your server or proxy. - Client music-provider access is supplied by TuneWeave on the player's own machine. The server does not need ModernUI or a TuneWeave process. ### Install For a standalone Paper server, put the Paper JAR into its `plugins` directory and restart the server. For a Velocity network, put the Velocity JAR only into the proxy's `plugins` directory. Do not install this plugin on any backend. Proxy/backend double installation is unsupported and detected by the deployment checks. Players open the music interface with **M**, add songs to the public queue and use **.** to vote to skip. They can switch to client isolation mode for independent playback. Music-provider credentials stay on the client; the plugin coordinates public playback without storing those credentials or running the provider service. ### Project and support This plugin is part of the independent MusicHud TuneWeave fork of [MusicHud by Ephern / Etern](https://github.com/Ephern/MusicHud). Its server/proxy integration works with the fork's own client protocol and deployment model. It is maintained by MOPELotus under LGPL-3.0, with upstream attribution retained. Development uses AI assistance in implementation, testing, review and documentation under human direction.
