Eternal Tears is an alchemy-focused Minecraft mod that reimagines the vanilla potion brewing system and expands it into a much deeper part of the game. Instead of treating potions as a small utility mechanic, Eternal Tears turns alchemy into its own progression system built around experimentation, brewing, exploration, specialized equipment, and new ways to use familiar Minecraft ingredients.

🧪 Expanded Alchemy

Experiment with an expanded brewing system featuring new potions, elixirs, ingredients, combinations, and alchemical mechanics. Vanilla potions remain an important part of the system, but they can now serve as the foundation for more advanced forms of alchemy. Some combinations work exactly as expected. Others... don't.

⚗️ New Brewing Equipment

Alchemy is no longer limited to the vanilla Brewing Stand. Eternal Tears introduces new blocks and equipment designed for different stages of brewing and experimentation, including specialized cauldrons, potion storage, advanced brewing equipment, and other alchemical tools. Each system has its own purpose rather than simply replacing vanilla brewing.

🧪 New Potions & Elixirs

Discover and create new alchemical mixtures with effects and properties beyond ordinary Minecraft potions. Different ingredients and potion combinations can produce new results, while more advanced equipment allows mixtures to be developed even further. Some experimental combinations can also become unstable, producing unpredictable results.

🧤 Alchemical Equipment & Artifacts

Eternal Tears adds new equipment and artifacts designed specifically around alchemy. These items can interact with brewing, exploration, potion storage, ingredients and other systems introduced by the mod, giving players more reasons to specialize in alchemy beyond simply carrying a few potions.

📖 Discover Alchemy Through Exploration

Not everything is immediately available through a crafting recipe. Explore the world, discover abandoned alchemical locations, recover lost pages and recipes, and gradually reconstruct forgotten knowledge. The mod includes its own progression and advancement system built around experimentation, discoveries, unusual interactions and occasionally questionable decisions.

Eternal Tears is designed around the idea that alchemy should encourage experimentation. Mix things that probably shouldn't be mixed. Try unusual potion interactions. Search for forgotten recipes. Build specialized equipment. And find out what happens. Sometimes you'll discover something useful. Sometimes you'll discover why nobody tried it before.

## ⚠️ Alpha Eternal Tears is currently in active development. The mod is still in its Alpha stage. Mechanics, recipes, balance, textures and progression may change significantly between versions. Bugs are expected, and new content will continue to be added as development progresses. Current version: 0.1.0 Alpha
