The Blacksmith's Library Mod adds in 1 (at the moment) new item, the Scythe!
-Functionality Scythes function like hoes allowing you to create farmland and can even utilize hoe enchants, although the bonuses of this weapon come from it having the stats of the netherite axe and increased range: 10 Attack Damage, 1 Attack Speed, +0.5 Attack Range (Half a block). Now with just that, it still wouldn't be a very good weapon, that being said in base vanilla minecraft it's best use is for crowd control, because it has the unique property of being able to sweep regardless of the player's state (Falling, Sprinting, etc).
-Enchancement Relations This being said, it should be noted that the Scythe is built for use with the mod Enchancement by MoriyaShiine as there's no Sharpness, and the Scythe get's the Apex Enchantment, therefore for the best experience it's recommended to use Enchancement alongside Blacksmith's Library.
Future weapons will also be designed with Enchancement in mind.
-Obtainment When killing regular Zombies there is a rare chance one of them may drop a "Broken Scythe". You can repair this item with a netherite upgrade template and a smithing table to get your very own Scythe
-Variants When repairing the Scythe you can use the material slot to craft different variants of the Scythe, as of now there are 2 extra variants.
-Grace | Redstone Dust -Creaking | Resin Brick
-Extra Stuff Oh yeah it also adds in a starter compass, makes items appear as their third person hand size when in an item frame, and a Weapon Rack which removes glow item frames, and makes the base ones glow. To Combat this issue you should download this mod: modrinth.com/mod/invisible-frames-mod
