Trial Catacombs Mod (1.21.1) – Battle Deadly Undead Armies in Underground Tombs

Trial Catacombs Mod introduces dangerous underground trial tombs filled with organized undead armies into your world. This mod tests your combat skills against coordinated skeleton squads and a mighty boss in the deep underground. Every run features randomized rooms, trap chambers, and special trial arenas where you can earn unique combat gear.

Features:

• Generates ancient underground dungeon tombs across the Overworld with surface entrances.
• Features randomized room layouts including battle rooms, supply rooms, and deadly traps along a structured path.
• Spawns three specialized skeleton types that fight together as a tactical unit.
• Multi-Phase Boss: The Skeleton King summons minions, performs dash slashes, and enrages below half health.
• Includes a three-altar trial chamber where you offer mob trophies for timed combat challenges.
• Utilizes locked doors, one-way paths, and shortcut gates that unlock as you clear rooms.
• Displays clear attack wind-up animations so you can dodge or interrupt incoming enemy strikes.
• Protects dungeon blocks from being broken until the main boss is defeated.
• Prevents item loss upon death inside the boss arena and trial rooms.
• Drops unique boss equipment such as the Crimson Bond greatsword, Bone Crown, and Doom Hood.

Skeleton Guard Types:

• Skeleton Warrior: Acts as a melee tank that absorbs incoming damage for other skeletons.
• Skeleton Archer: Fires rapid shots from a distance and keeps away from melee attackers.
• Skeleton Warlock: Summons ground runes that heal allies or inflict harm on enemies.

Commands:

• /locate structure remains_cave:dungeon: locates the nearest trial catacomb dungeon structure.

How to Play:

1. Locate a dungeon entrance on the surface or use the locate command to find one.
2. Descend through the randomized rooms while fighting skeleton squads and dodging traps.
3. Set your spawn point inside the Node Room before entering the final boss area.
4. Defeat the Skeleton King in the locked boss room to claim the Crown Key and unlock the reward vault.
5. Take collected monster trophies to the side trial rooms to activate optional timed battle waves.
