PERFORMANCE

INSTALLATION

Iris Shaders

  1. Install Iris Shaders.
  2. Download RAY TRACING POTATO.
  3. Launch Minecraft.
  4. Navigate to:

Options → Video Settings → Shader Packs

  1. Open the shader pack folder.
  2. Place the downloaded RAY TRACING POTATO .zip file inside the folder.
  3. Return to Minecraft.
  4. Select RAY TRACING POTATO from the shader pack list.
  5. Apply the shader and start playing.

OptiFine

If your version of RAY TRACING POTATO supports OptiFine:

  1. Install OptiFine.
  2. Launch Minecraft using the OptiFine profile.
  3. Navigate to:

Options → Video Settings → Shaders

  1. Open the shader folder.
  2. Place the RAY TRACING POTATO .zip file inside.
  3. Return to Minecraft and select the shader pack.

RECOMMENDED SETTINGS

For lower-end systems:

Resolution: 720p–1080p Render Distance: 6–12 chunks Simulation Distance: 5–8 chunks

If performance is insufficient, consider reducing shadow quality and other demanding shader effects before lowering Minecraft's resolution.
