Kinetic Minecart Mod (26.3, 1.20.1) – Turn Fast Minecarts Into Deadly Railway

Kinetic Minecart Mod increases damage dealt by moving minecarts based on their velocity. Fast-moving carts turn into dangerous hazards that launch and crush mobs along track lines. The mod calculates collision damage directly from movement speed, meaning higher velocities hit much harder. It lets you construct deadly railway defenses and easily run down monsters on tracks.

Features:

• Minecarts deal higher impact damage to mobs as their movement speed increases.
• Speeds at or above 6 deal damage equal to velocity cubed for massive hits.
• Speeds between 2 and 6 inflict damage equal to velocity squared.
• Targets already riding inside a vehicle take direct damage equal to the cart speed.
• Minecarts moving at or below speed 2 deal zero impact damage.
• Entities hit by a cart get knocked back a distance matching the cart speed.
• Offers configurable collision modes to switch between direct contact and radius detection.
• Includes customizable entity exclusion lists to protect pets, players, or named mobs.

Configuration:

• enabled: Toggles the mod features on or off.
• selectedApplicaionMode: Sets detection type to direct Collide or area Radius.
• intRadius: Adjusts collision detection radius between 3 and 10 blocks.
• enabledDamage: Toggles damage calculations from minecart impacts.
• selectedDamageMode: Chooses between TieredDamage calculation or DirectlyKill.
• enabledKnock: Enables or disables knockback when minecarts hit entities.
• excludePlayer: Prevents minecarts from damaging players when set to true.
• excludePet: Protects tamed pets from taking minecart impact damage.
• excludePassenger: Prevents damage to passengers riding inside the cart.
• excludeNamedEntity: Stops minecarts from harming mobs with custom nametags.
• excludeItemEntity: Protects dropped items from being affected by collisions.
