Oceanic Expansion Addon for Minecraft Bedrock 26.50
Adds realistic ocean life to Minecraft: shortfin mako sharks, yellowfin tuna, and jellyfish with behaviors and drops in ocean biomes.
⬇ DownloadOceanic Expansion is a spin-off add-on of Aquatic Expansion by Modonotional. This add-on adds three ocean mobs — sharks, tunas and jellyfish — each designed to enrich ocean biomes with new behavior and interactions.
Creatures
Shortfin Mako Shark
The shortfin mako shark (Isurus oxyrinchus) is represented in-game as a fast, predatory ocean mob. It moves quickly through open water, can attack weaker aquatic mobs, and drops fish-based loot when defeated. Makos are rare and best encountered in deeper ocean biomes.
Jellyfish
Jellyfish (sea jellies) are gelatinous, drifting creatures that float with pulsating motion. They use stinging tentacles to deter predators and may cause status effects if players touch them. Jellyfish spawn in groups and can appear near coasts and in open water.
In-game they add atmosphere and risk to exploring shallow and coastal waters and may have bioluminescent variants for night-time aesthetics.
Yellowfin Tuna
The yellowfin tuna (Thunnus albacares) appears as a schooling fish in pelagic waters. Tuna are non-hostile, valuable as a food source, and spawn in warmer ocean biomes. They add life to open-water encounters and can be caught or farmed depending on server rules.
Features

- Distinct behaviors: predators, passive schooling fish, and hazardous jellyfish.
