Mielon's the Sift Mod (26.3, 1.20.1) – Awaken Ancient City Portals to New Worlds

Mielon’s the Sift Mod opens the reinforced deepslate portal inside Ancient Cities to reveal a strange new dimension. You can travel across ten biomes filled with unique stone, glowing fluids, and strange wildlife. The mod adds late-game gear upgrades, special enchanting materials, and helpful creatures to tame or trade with. It turns the deepest underground ruins into a gateway for new journeys.

Features:

• Adds an entire dimension featuring 10 unique biomes, independent weather, and a custom skybox.
• Includes Ichor, a restorative fluid that gives Regeneration and can be stored in bottles or cauldrons.
• Introduces Siftite, an endgame upgrade for Netherite gear that increases mining speed and returns items after death via Mini Rifts.
• Adds Charoite, a rare mineral used in enchanting tables to boost enchantment levels past standard caps.
• Spawns temporary Sift Rifts that transport players, mobs, and items between dimensions for five minutes.
• Brings the complete Overgrown Willow wood set along with new vegetation and sculk blocks.
• Uses a 1:1 coordinate scale with the Overworld and allows regular bed usage.

New Mobs:

• Singer: Awakens ancient blocks through song to help unlock the dimensional gateway.
• Echo Golem: Collects Soul Blocks in deep canyons and can be bonded using an Echo Shard.
• Blub: A small rabbit-like creature that can be tamed with Soul Blocks to defend you.
• Sifter: A fast pack-hunting predator that roams overgrown forests.
• Dark Sniffer: An infected variant that pulls distant targets closer using sonic abilities.

How to Use:

1. Travel to the center of an Ancient City in front of the large frame.
2. Play a Goat Horn to summon the Singer and wake up the Sonorous Deepslate blocks.
3. Place Note Blocks on top of the awakened Sonorous Deepslate blocks.
4. Right-click each Note Block to set its note from 1 to 8.
5. Left-click the Note Blocks in order: 1 → 3 → 7 → 6 → 5 → 2 → 4 → 8.
6. Step into the opened gateway to enter The Sift.
