Stock Market Lite transforms your server economy into an interactive fictional stock exchange.

Players can invest their in-game money into fictional companies, buy and sell shares, build portfolios, follow changing market conditions, react to financial news, and track their success over time.

This isn't simply a shop with changing prices. Stock Market Lite includes an actual market simulation system designed to make the exchange feel alive while remaining suitable for a Minecraft survival economy.

Players use their real ExcellentEconomy balance to participate in the exchange.

Each company participates in a persistent simulation system containing:

The exchange also supports different Market Regimes.

The Market Status interface allows the active regime to be changed directly, letting the server control the overall market environment.




Markets become much more interesting when something unexpected happens.

Stock Market Lite includes configurable financial events capable of affecting:

• SECTOR — Companies belonging to a particular industry
• STOCK — One specific company

Example events include technology breakthroughs, supply disruptions, mineral discoveries, logistics expansion, market rallies, and market-wide selloffs.

Recent events are stored in the Market News interface so players can follow what's happening before making their next investment.




Players can inspect their market performance through the dedicated Trading Statistics interface.

Server administrators aren't limited to these companies.

Create additional stocks and build an exchange specifically for your server.




The Admin Stock Manager gives authorized staff control over the exchange without exposing administrative tools to normal players.

Administrators can:

• Create new stocks
• Choose custom ticker symbols
• Set company names
• Assign sectors
• Choose stock icons
• Configure starting prices
• Configure minimum and maximum prices
• Adjust volatility
• Adjust price drift
• Adjust market sensitivity
• Delete custom stocks

Investment Protection:
A stock cannot be deleted while player portfolios still contain shares in that company.

The Exchange supports 21 stock cards per page and automatically adds additional pages as your custom market grows.

The original eight companies also retain their stable ordering.

Allows access to administrative stock management, event testing and configuration reload functionality.

Normal players cannot access the Admin Stock Manager.

Important configuration files include:

1. Install ExcellentEconomy 2.8.0 on your server.
2. Place the Stock Market Lite JAR inside your server's /plugins directory.
3. Start or restart the server.
4. Confirm the configured ExcellentEconomy currency exists.
5. Join the server and run /stocks.
6. Start trading!

Stock Market Lite uses the ExcellentEconomy currency ID:

by default.

If your server uses another currency ID, change it in the Stock Market configuration.




Required Dependency

ExcellentEconomy 2.8.0 or later

ExcellentEconomy provides the player balances used when buying and selling shares.

Stock Market Lite will use the configured economy currency when processing trades.
