A fungal infection has ruined civilization in CORDYCEPS, an addon that turns survival into a dark, stealth-focused horror setting. It needs Experimental Features and both the behavior and resource packs applied to the world.
The world is dark, which suits the infected, so light becomes an important tool. Players meet new infected variants and Cordyceps nests in explorable cities and structures. Both packs come in Full and Lite versions: Full has colossal cities, laboratories and sewers, while Lite scales structures down for easier performance.
New games start in a bunker with supplies. Throwables such as Molotov, Granada and Bomba Clavos attract or deter enemies, health upgrade pills raise maximum health, daggers allow instant takedowns, and a Ghillie suit enables stealth while crouching in dark areas.
