TC Auto Eat keeps your character properly nourished by automatically consuming food from your inventory whenever your hunger drops, letting you focus entirely on building, mining, and combat without stopping to manually eat.
Features
Smart Inventory Auto-Feeding
Whenever hunger drops below your chosen threshold (default: 16 points), the addon scans your inventory, selects the most nutritious cooked food available, decrements the item stack by one, and instantly restores your hunger and saturation.
Nutrition Priority System
High-tier nourishing meals (Steak, Cooked Porkchop, Golden Carrots, Cooked Mutton, Bread) are prioritized before raw or low-saturation snacks. When consuming soups or stews, wooden bowls are cleanly returned to your inventory.
Healing Auto-Feed
When damaged, maintaining full saturation is essential for natural health regeneration. TC Auto Eat keeps your hunger topped up while you are injured so your health recovers continuously.
Emergency Golden Apple Option
An optional safety feature that automatically consumes a Golden Apple or Enchanted Golden Apple from your inventory when your health drops to critical levels (6 health points or lower), applying absorption, regeneration, and resistance buffs to prevent death.
Realistic Audio Feedback
Features authentic eating sounds and burping audio cues upon completing meals. Audio effects can be toggled off at any time.
In-Game Configuration Menu
Operators can customize all auto-eating behaviors through an in-game modal form:
- Master Auto Eat Toggle
- Hunger Trigger Threshold slider (10 to 19 food points)
- Eat When Injured toggle (natural regeneration priority)
- Emergency Golden Apple toggle (critical health mode)
- Sound and Particle Effects toggle
Access the configuration menu at any time by running:
/tc:autoeat or /tc:eat
Operators also receive an auto-eat configuration stick on initial world spawn.
Installation and Compatibility
Add the behavior pack to your world. No experimental toggles or Beta APIs are required. Fully compatible with multiplayer survival worlds and realms.
- Note: Achievement friendly on Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.40 and below.
