Give every player a place to trade
ForgeMarket Free is a standalone player-shop plugin for qualified Paper, Purpur and Folia builds.
Players create a storefront, deposit real items, choose their prices and open for business. Buyers discover offers, inspect the actual item, review the total and collect their purchases from a persistent delivery inbox.
ForgeMarket runs independently of Donut SMP All In One. It has its own Credits wallet and database.
A complete starting marketplace
- One storefront per player: give your shop a name, welcome message, category and colour theme.
- 12 active offers per shop: build a focused catalogue of items you actually have in stock.
- Real item deposits: deposit held items and preserve their metadata.
- Easy restocking: add matching items to an existing offer.
- Owner controls: reprice offers, open or close your storefront, and close listings to return remaining stock to your inbox.
- Search and sorting: browse items and shop names, with pagination and sorting by recency, price or stock.
- Material comparisons: discover offers across shops. Enchantments and other metadata can differ, so inspect the item preview.
- Reviewed purchases: check the item, quantity and total before confirming.
- Offline seller proceeds: shop owners can receive payment while away.
- Receipts and delivery: completed purchases have receipts, and items wait in a persistent inbox.
Know what you are buying
Purchase quotes last 60 seconds. Relevant changes to price, discounts, balance or stock require a fresh review.
Completed purchases go to the buyer’s delivery inbox. Claim one stack at a time into an empty main-inventory slot.
An economy you configure
- Separate Credits wallet: persistent balances with integer-cent accounting.
- Player payments: reviewed transfers between players.
- Configurable fees: set a transaction fee for your marketplace.
- Your presentation: customise the dashboard brand, currency label, button width, page size and menu sounds.
- Item restrictions: block selected materials from new deposits.
- Staff tools: audited credit grants, transaction records and recovery holds for uncertain transfers.
No money is automatically created on login. Operators choose how players receive Credits.
No mandatory client mod, resource pack, Vault installation or external database. SQLite is bundled.
An optional Vault deposit/withdrawal bridge is experimental, disabled by default and available only on Paper/Purpur with a compatible provider. It does not automatically share balances. Real third-party economy qualification remains unfinished.

Compatibility: read before installing
This plugin requires qualified Paper-family builds. Spigot itself is not a supported host.
Qualified Paper releases: 1.21.6, 1.21.7, 1.21.8, 1.21.9, 1.21.10, 1.21.11, 26.1.1, 26.1.2, 26.2 and 26.3.
Qualified Purpur releases: 1.21.6, 1.21.7, 1.21.8, 1.21.9, 1.21.10, 1.21.11, 26.1.2, 26.2 and 26.3.
Qualified Folia releases: 1.21.6, 1.21.8, 1.21.11, 26.1.2 and 26.2.
Use Java 21 for 1.21.x and Java 25 for 26.x.
Minecraft 1.21.6 requires an additional server setting. Follow the linked compatibility guide before enabling player access.
These qualifications apply to specific builds, not every patch or fork. Some tested builds are upstream alpha/beta releases. The 26.x checks used translated 1.21.11 clients; native 26.x client rendering remains unverified.
Minecraft 1.21.5 and earlier, Forge/Fabric loaders and proxy software are not supported plugin hosts.

ForgeMarket Free 0.1.1 passed 40 unit tests and 528 automated live checks across 24 specific server builds.
Production-load qualification, complete inventory/world crash recovery, broad client-layout coverage and real third-party economy qualification remain unfinished.
SQLite transactions cannot include Minecraft player-inventory files or external economy systems. Uncertain transfers can require staff review; no lossless crash-recovery guarantee is claimed.
Physical chest shops, cross-server shared databases, dynamic pricing and full localisation are not included.
Development, tests, documentation and marketing include substantial AI assistance.
