Before using this mod, you need to do some additional configuration: open Verity's config file (config/verity-client.toml) and set useOllama to true, then set ollama_url to http://127.0.0.1:25000/v1

Have you ever thought about making Verity a truly reliable AI companion? This mod aims to make Verity a real AI friend that never attacks the player.

Currently Implemented Features

1. Use Deepseek for the LLM model
2. Verity forced to never transform into demon form. This feature is disabled by default. Enable it in the verityfriend-client.toml config file under your version's config folder
3. Prompt override. You can create different prompts for Verity. This feature allows you to make Verity play different roles
4. Smarter item giving. When enabled, Verity can give players items from non-vanilla mods. However, there are still some issues at this stage. It is currently known that TACZ firearms cannot be given
5. Web search. When enabled, Verity can reply using web search results. Currently supported search APIs are Tavily and Bing. Tavily requires you to configure the API yourself
6. Token billing dashboard. This mod generates a verityfriend folder in your version's config folder. This folder contains Verity's persona file and a dashboard link. Click dashboard.html to view token consumption, but the game must be running. The persona.txt file in the persona folder under the verityfriend folder is Verity's persona file. You can overwrite this file with your own prompts. However, note that due to input and output token limits, I do not recommend writing overly long prompts

Features Still in Testing

1. Verity's memory feature is still in testing. After installing this mod, a verityfriend folder will be generated in your save folder. This folder stores your chat history with Verity. You can use the /remember command to let Verity summarize a record about you. This record is also saved in the verityfriend folder under your save file
2. Input/output token limit. I have not tested this feature yet. The author is not responsible for abnormal token consumption caused by enabling this feature

4. 更智能的物品给予，开启这项功能后 Verity 可以给予玩家非原版中的物品，不过现阶段还存在一些问题，目前已知的 TACZ 中的枪械无法被给予
5. 联网搜索内容，开启后 Verity 可以通过联网搜索内容进行回复，目前联网搜索的 API 支持 Tavily 以及 Bing 搜索，Tavily 需要自行配置 API
6. token 计费的仪表盘，该模组会在你的版本 config 文件夹下生成 verityfriend 文件夹，这个文件夹下包含着 Verity 的人格文件以及仪表盘链接，点击 dashboard.html 即可查看消耗的 token，不过前提是你的游戏正在运行，同时在 verityfriend 文件夹下的 persona 文件夹中的 persona.txt 为 Verity 的人格文件，你可以用你自己的提示词覆盖该文件，不过需要注意的是，由于输出与输入 token 存在限制，所以我不建议输入过长的提示词

还在测试中的功能

1. Verity 的记忆功能目前还在测试，安装该模组后会在你的存档文件夹下生成一个 verityfriend 文件夹，该文件夹中存储着你与 Verity 的聊天记录，你可以输入 /remember 指令让 Verity 总结一份关于你的记录，该记录也保存在你的存档文件下的 verityfriend 文件夹中
2. 输入输出的 token 限制，目前我还没有测试该功能，由于启用该功能导致 token 消耗异常作者将不负责任
