This is an experimental addon. Features, balance, and UI may change or break between updates. Feedback welcome.
One musket. One heavy lead ball. Reload like history — then make the shot count.
Features
- Flintlock musket — craftable survival weapon with 3D hold/fire animations
- Paper cartridges — craft ammo, then hold use to reload (~5s by default)
- High damage ball — default 24 damage; long range, forced straight flight
- Sneak zoom — FOV tightens while sneaking with the musket (no ADS pose)
- Ammo HUD — bottom-left loaded / reserve JsonUI while holding the musket
- No bayonet melee — model has no bayonet; item deals no melee damage
- Settings —
/flintlock:settingsfor enable, damage, reload time, spread, range + Credits QR
How to use
- Enable Beta APIs, then activate both Behavior Pack and Resource Pack.
- Craft Flintlock Musket: iron ×3, sticks ×2, flint ×1.
- Craft Paper Cartridges: paper + gunpowder + iron nugget → 2 cartridges.
- Hold the musket → hold use to reload (needs a cartridge) → use again to fire.
- Sneak while holding for zoom. Watch loaded/reserve at the bottom-left.
- Operators:
/flintlock:settingsto tune balance or open Credits (scan QR on screen).
Required / Notes
- Status: Experimental — not a finished “1.0 polish” release; expect tweaks and possible bugs
- Minecraft: Bedrock 1.21.130+
- Experiments: Beta APIs required
- Packs: BP + RP both required
- Multiplayer / Realms / BDS: Works when both packs are on for all players
- Achievements: Script add-ons typically disable Xbox achievements
- Conflicts: Uses custom
