The author built this one for Minecraft 1.21.120. On other versions it may install and then do nothing.
Thunder Wand

In this addon add
Thunder Wand adds one craftable item: a wand that strikes lightning at the spot you're looking at. Right-click to use it, or tap on mobile.
Features
Lightning strikes up to 64 blocks away
2-second cooldown, with the recharge time shown above your hotbar
Safety range: won't fire at targets closer than 4 blocks
Custom item with its own icon
No experimental features required
How to get it
Command: /give @s thunder:wand
Crafting recipe (diagonal): Lightning Rod top-right, Blaze Rod in the center, Blaze Rod bottom-left
Or find it in the creative inventory under Equipment
Installation
Download ThunderWand.mcaddon and open it with Minecraft.
Create or edit a world → Add-Ons.
Enable both the Behavior Pack and the Resource Pack.
Notes
The lightning behaves like vanilla: it starts fires, charges creepers, and turns pigs into zombified piglins and villagers into witches. Use with care!
Built on the stable Script API (@minecraft/server 2.3.0), so no Beta APIs are needed.
Compatibility: Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.120+
