Enchantaholic
The author built this one for Minecraft 26.50. On other versions it may install and then do nothing.
Enchantaholic (Bedrock)
Enchantaholic turns mining into an enchanting frenzy. Every block you break puts a random enchantment on a random item in your inventory: hotbar, backpack, armor or offhand. Roll one the item already has and it keeps leveling up past the vanilla max. Sharpness VII, Efficiency X, Protection XV: the add-on tracks the true level and makes it count.
The mode is turned on by adding the Enchantaholic behavior pack when you create the world. Peaceful, Easy, Normal, Hard and Hardcore work exactly as in vanilla.
Features
- ⛏️ Every block counts: each block you break enchants one random item from your inventory, armor or offhand. Blocks that break instantly (grass, flowers, torches, crops) don't count.
- 🎲 Random enchantments, curses included: each roll picks an enchantment the item can actually hold. Lunge only lands on spears, and vanilla rules like Fortune vs Silk Touch are respected.
- 📈 Levels past the max: Bedrock caps enchantment levels, so the item keeps the vanilla maximum and the true level (VI, VII, X…) is shown in its lore.
- 💥 Levels above the max still matter:
- extra melee damage for Sharpness, Smite and Bane of Arthropods
- extra arrow damage for Power
- extra damage reduction for the Protection family and Feather Falling
- Haste while holding a tool with Efficiency above the max
- ✨ Custom enchantments (optional, off by default): 11 wild enchantments of our own, turned on with
/enchantaholic:custom on. They can land on any item, even dirt and sticks. - 🔘 Toggle any time: operators use
/enchantaholic:toggle on|off|statusand/enchantaholic:custom on|off|status, both working with cheats off. - 🔕 Notification settings: each player can turn the enchant sound, the message or both off with
/enchantaholic:notify sound|message on|off. - 🎮 Fair to play with: Creative and Spectator never trigger rolls.
Custom enchantments
| Enchantment | What it does |
|---|---|
| Vein Miner | Breaks every connected block of the same type, 8 more per level, up to 256 |
| Barrage | Absurd multishot: 10 extra arrows, snowballs, eggs or wind charges per level (up to 64) |
| Yeet | Melee hits launch mobs into the sky |
| Kaboom | Your projectiles explode on impact, without breaking blocks |
| Party Popper | Kills set off fireworks and confetti |
| Chicken Rain | Mining sometimes spawns a chicken |
| Midas Touch | Mining sometimes drops gold nuggets, and at high levels ingots |
| Magnet | Pulls nearby drops and XP to you |
| Moon Boots | Huge jumps and no fall damage |
| Curse of Butterfingers | Sometimes you drop what you're holding |
| Curse of Hiccups | Random involuntary hops. Hic! |
Every effect has a safety cap. Extra projectiles vanish on impact, so nothing can be duplicated.
Requirements
