CASE: Create Aeronautics - Space Exploration

The modpack is still in ALPHA and much of the content has not been finished, tested, or refined.

Create Aeronautics: Space Exploration, or CASE, is a progression focused space automation modpack where you actually explore space, design refineries on Mars, build an orbital dry dock to construct a massive cargo hauler to bring back ore from Mercury, create an underground colony to escape the toxic atmosphere of Venus. All with the depth of Aeronautics, or without, if you're looking for a more laid back experience.

You begin crawling out of your escape pod after your spaceship has some sort of “accident.” You use Create and addons such as The Factory Must Grow and Create: Metallurgy to build a spaceship to go to the Moon. There, you refine advanced fuel so you can extend your reach to Mars, where you’ll use Mekanism to create a ship capable of reaching even farther out into the system. Will you venture into the toxic clouds of Venus to harness the power of Applied Energistics? Or will you brave the molten surface of Mercury to build advanced factories with Oritech?

All with the goal of creating a massive interstellar ship able to bring you home.

Heavily inspired by Factorio: Space Age and Satisfactory, the modpack has a linear quest tree that will have you building automated mining for all of the core resources, building large factories with complex production chains, and producing research packs to unlock various parts of the modpack. It features a quest line to taking you from basic survival all the way to the Moon (all the way to the end soon™), along with completely redone recipes (400+), balance changes and unique integrations for modpack veterans to find something fresh to enjoy.

Custom Tectonic configs, lots of immersion mods and changed spawn rules help create an exciting new world to explore.

After playing dozens of kitchen sink packs with no sense of progression, and where going to space was just the “end goal” and not a core part of the experience, I decided to just do it myself. This is the result.
