Novelty API (26+) – MCPE/Bedrock Addon
Bedrock add-on listed for Minecraft 1.21 (resource pack only). Installs from the MC Bedrock Mods app on Android.
⬇ DownloadNovelty API adds 24 new equipment slots to the player inventory, giving other creators somewhere to put hats, necklaces, belts and more. It is a utility add-on and a backend framework, so it adds no accessory items of its own.
The slots cover a hat, face, necklace, two bracelets, two hand slots, two foot slots, a belt, a back slot, a spellbook slot, two charm slots and ten general trinket slots. Other add-ons make their items fit by giving them tags such as novelty:is_hat or novelty:is_belt, and a scripting library handles more complex cases. Experimental Features must be turned on, and both the behavior pack and the resource pack need to be applied to the world.
