Experiment (26+) – MCPE/Bedrock Addon

A parasitic infestation spreads through the world in Experiment, an add-on that turns the landscape into something dark and apocalyptic. It uses scripting APIs, so Experimental Features must be enabled, and both the behavior and resource packs should be applied to the world.

It starts with meat eggs, whose nests appear in new Tissue biomes made of living flesh and unstable infected material. The nests can explode when they catch prey and release more parasites. These parasites are harmless in darkness, but light enrages them, and any touch is deadly. Chickens, cows, mooshrooms and creepers can turn into breaking egg, egg beat and infected variants. Other threats include the Corruptor, the Infester, rare infected witches, a Mini Boss Iron Golem and Splitter Villagers that divide into several attackers.
