Sanity adds a mental state meter to survival, so players have to manage their sanity alongside their health. The add-on needs Experimental Features turned on, and both the behavior and resource pack should be applied.
Sanity drops in dim areas, during storms and after long exposure to hostile mobs. Light, rest, good food, certain flowers in the inventory and recovering health restore it, while slaying mobs, taking damage and changing dimensions cost some. At low levels players may suffer visual and auditory hallucinations, slower movement, reduced mining speed, or severe hunger and weakness. A Garland worn in the helmet slot gives periodic boosts.

- Turn on Experimental Features — this addon uses scripting APIs
- Apply BOTH the behavior and the resource pack to your world
