Show the in-game world time as floating hologram-style clocks anywhere in your Minecraft world. Personal clocks visible only to you, or world clocks visible to everyone. Move them, resize them, color them — all from commands or a 3×3 GUI.
# Requirements
- Java 17+
- Spigot 1.20.4+
# Installation
- Drop FloatingClock.jar into your server's plugins/ folder
- Start the server — the plugin generates config.yml and data.yml automatically
- Grant permissions (see below) or set use-permissions: false in config.yml for testing
- Run /fc help in-game to open the wiki book
# Clock Types
## Personal clocks
visible only to the owner. Despawn when the owner logs out, respawn on join. Other players never see them.
## World clocks
visible to everyone. Always display the live time when at least one player is online. Show XX:XX when the server is empty.
# Per-Clock Customization
- Text label : a custom name shown above the time display
- Color: Background color (17 Bukkit colors)
- Size (Text scale): small, medium, big, verybig, huge — configurable in config.yml
- Time offset: ±hours shift applied to the displayed world time
# Edit GUI
- /fc edit <idx> opens a 3×3 dispenser GUI:
Movement is relative to the player's facing direction.
# Performance
- Personal clocks despawn on quit, respawn on join
- Data saves asynchronously with coalescing
- Entity reconnection via UUID + name fallback scan
- Ghost entity cleanup on chunk load
- Late-loading worlds handled via WorldLoadEvent
