Discord link

Discord Link

Discord Link

DiscordLink is a Discord account linking and verification plugin tailored for Paper (Minecraft 1.21.x) servers. Powered by a local SQLite database, it persistently tracks the linking relationships between player UUIDs and Discord accounts, offering both mandatory verification and optional self-linking modes to streamline community management for server administrators.

Features

• Dual Verification Modes:

• Mandatory Mode: Unlinked players are denied access upon login and presented with a randomly generated 5-digit verification code. Players must submit this code in a designated Discord channel before they can join the server.

• Optional Mode: Players can join the server freely and are prompted on login to use /discordlink link to generate a verification code and link their accounts voluntarily.

• Custom Discord Embeds: Full configuration support for all outbound Discord embeds, including customizable titles, descriptions, hex colors, and footer texts.

• Player Avatar Rendering: Integrates mc-heads.net API to display 3D player head renders within Discord embed messages, with support for both online and offline UUIDs.

• Geyser/Floodgate Compatibility: Optimized layout and character constraints for Bedrock players, preventing formatting glitches or misaligned kick screens.

• Automatic Config Migration: Automatically appends new configuration keys during updates while strictly preserving existing custom values.

• Admin Logging & Notifications: Optional direct message confirmations to players upon successful linking, along with detailed audit logs dispatched to dedicated admin channels.

• Graceful Shutdown Routine: Safely blocks the main thread during plugin disablement until all Discord connection threads terminate cleanly, preventing zip file closed warnings on shutdown.

Commands & Permissions

The primary command for this plugin is /discordlink, aliased as /dclink.
