Altar SMP

Race to the altar, pay the price, and claim a one-of-a-kind legendary weapon.

How It Works

• Admins place Altar Pedestals around the world. Each one shows a floating legendary weapon and the materials needed to claim it.
• Bring the materials and right-click the altar to claim the weapon.
• Each altar can only be claimed once. First come, first served!
• Every claim strikes lightning and tells the whole server: "Player has crafted Hyperion!"
• Altars can't be mined or blown up, and there's built-in anti-dupe protection.

Legendary Weapons

Every weapon has two abilities. Right-click uses the first one and Sneak + Right-click uses the second.

	Hyperion: Holy Lance strikes where you look, and Scorching Blade blasts a ring of fire around you.
	Bloodlust: Grows stronger with every player kill, unlocking bleed, tracking, Blood Trail and Blood Hook.
	Knightfall: A mace that levels up through 3 forms as you get kills, unlocking a Grappling Hook and Hammer Throw.
	Nightpiercer: Crimson Bite steals a player's hearts, and Transformation turns you into a flying bat swarm.
	Frost Scythe: Throw your scythe or launch a barrage of ice blocks.
	Pure Blade: Shade Soul fires a piercing beam, and Cyclone Slash spins a cyclone around you.
	Paladin's Battle Axe: Earthshatter drops a giant spectral axe, and Stalwart returns the damage you take as a shockwave.
	Cutlass: Thousand Cuts unleashes a flurry of slashes, and Parry blocks the next 3 hits.
	Shadow Blade: Throw blinding shadow daggers, or turn invisible and teleport with Shadow Leap.
	Bone Blade: Skeletal Leap launches you forward, and Bone Cage freezes enemies in place.
	Withered Bone Blade: Wither Leap wither-blasts your enemies. Build up wither by fighting, then cleanse it onto nearby players.
	Windweaver: Wind Leap boosts you forward, and Gust fires more wind charges the longer you charge it.
	Vulcan's Bow: Fires 3 flaming arrows per shot, and Vulcan's Wrath turns your next shot into a meteor.
	Pale Cannon: Shoots pale resin that leaves a rotting cloud, and Pale Roots erupt from the ground.
	Striker: Stab Shot drills a column of explosions, and Nuke Shot rains exploding stars down on your enemies.
	Earth Gauntlet: Charge up a Meteor Strike punch, or roll a Mudslide boulder that traps your target.
	Echo: Sonic Blast tunnels through blocks, and Echo Shriek makes nearby players glow.
	Eclipse: Gives you different powers by day (Solar Inferno, Solar Leap) and by night (Moonlit Stars, Moonlit Shadows).
	Wand of Illusion: Kill a mob to capture its essence, then disguise as it. There are 58 mobs, some can fly, and 11 have special abilities.
	Crazy Slots: Spin to turn it into a random legendary weapon for a limited time.

The addon also adds a Copper armor set and pickaxe, with player tracking, lightning strikes, speed boosts and 3×3 mining.

Crafting Materials

• Craft shards (Hyperion, Nightpiercer, Pale) and components like the Weapon Handle, Vulcan's Skull and Illusion Core.
• Player heads drop in PvP, and many recipes need them.
• Wardens can drop a Warden's Heart.

Admin Friendly

• Weapon presets set up an altar in seconds, or you can put any item on an altar (including items from other addons) with your own custom recipe.
• Adjust the display: floating item, spin, bob, scale and height.
• Change the cooldown and damage of every ability.
• Safezones disable abilities in chosen areas.
• Choose where cooldowns show: boss bar or action bar.
• Run /altarsmphelp in game for recipes, weapon info and setup help.

Admin tools require the admin tag (/tag @s add admin). Altar setup commands also need operator permission.
