Gloamer part 2: The Temple

by MCModsHub

A temple waits underground. Look away and the statues come closer. Step wrong and the floor gives way. And don't sit on the throne.

A few steps from where you wake stands a stone statue of the Gloamer. It turns its head when you are not looking. Bring it any raw meat. The statue crumbles, and his ghost rises to lead you through forests and over water to a temple that was built for something older than him.

Once you are inside, the doors close behind you. There is no way out until it's over. Every trap room hides one real clue: a glowing rune over the right lever, symbols in the right order, a safe path you only see on the ceiling with a lantern in your hand. Guess wrong and the floor gives way.

Past the hall of statues stands a throne. Sit on it and she wakes: the Keeper. She walks after you, slowly, always. One lever burns. Pull it and her heart stops for a few seconds. Strike her with the Thorn. Then another lever burns.

How to play

  1. Find the statue and give it raw meat.
  2. Follow the ghost to the temple.
  3. Trust the glowing rune, not the decor.
  4. Pull the burning lever, then strike the Keeper.

What's inside: a statue that watches you, a guiding ghost, three trap rooms, a hall of statues, a boss fight, a new temple after every victory, 14 languages, no experiments. Works on its own or together with Gloamer: Night Stalker.

Bedrock 1.26.20 or newer, one .mcaddon file.
