MinecraftTutorial.jar is a horror experience designed to initially look like nothing more than a simple Minecraft tutorial.
At first, everything seems normal. You enter a seemingly ordinary world and receive instructions teaching you the basic mechanics of the game: exploring, gathering resources, building, and surviving. The goal is to make the player feel as if they have entered an old and familiar Minecraft tutorial.
However, as you continue following the instructions, small things begin to feel wrong.
Certain details don't seem to be there by accident. Strange events slowly begin to break the feeling of normality, while the tutorial itself starts to feel less trustworthy. What initially appeared to be nothing more than a sequence of instructions gradually begins to feel like something is watching, interfering, or hiding something.
The experience is designed to build the horror slowly through unsettling details, unexpected changes, and situations that make the player question whether what they are seeing is actually supposed to happen.
Not everything is meant to be explained immediately.
The more you try to understand what is happening, the more questions begin to appear.
And perhaps the biggest question is why this tutorial exists in the first place.
