Sails and Airships Block Based Ships Mod (26.3, 1.21.11)

Sails and Airships Block Based Ships Mod lets you turn regular blocks into functional sailing ships and flying airships. You can assemble custom vessels, travel across oceans, fly across any dimension, and cross lakes of lava in the Nether. The mod also lets you salvage old shipwrecks, fire cannons at targets, and bring along mobs on your journeys.

Features:

• Block-Based Construction: You can build any water ship, lava craft, or airship using ordinary blocks without complex menus.
• Buoyancy Physics: Blocks have specific density ratings, meaning lighter wooden hulls float high while heavy metal blocks pull ships down.
• Craft a Ship Helm and right-click it to assemble floating, unconnected blocks into a moving craft.
• Add wool sails to a mast to increase forward speed based on the overall length of your ship.
• Place two iron blocks at the front of your bow to cut through frozen ocean ice at half speed.
• Fly through the sky using sealed wool envelopes lifted by campfires and powered by ghast drives.
• Use fireproof materials and nether sails to sail across hot lava lakes.
• Salvage intact ocean shipwrecks by placing a helm and repairing the broken hull.
• Mount cannons on the deck and load them with gunpowder and cannonballs.
• Chests, furnaces, brewing stands, and beds remain functional while underway.
• Tie friendly mobs to fence posts or let them stand directly on deck.
• Move your vessels between the Overworld and the Nether through oversized portals.

How to Use:

1. Place your crafted Ship Helm on a floating hull or an airship gondola that is completely detached from the terrain.
2. Right-click the Ship Helm to assemble the structure into a functional craft.
3. Use the W, A, S, and D keys to move and steer, and use Page Up or Page Down to zoom the camera view.
4. When piloting an airship, press Space to gain altitude and hold Left Control to descend.
5. Press the R key to lock your speed with cruise control.
6. Press Left Shift (Sneak) to dismount and dock your craft back into solid blocks.
