SlotRecall
SlotRecall is a client-side Fabric mod that helps you recover your inventory after dying.
When you die, SlotRecall remembers where your items were. As you pick them back up, they are automatically moved back into their original inventory slots, including the hotbar, armor slots, and offhand.
Features
- Automatically restores recovered items to their original slots
- Sorts items immediately as you pick them up
- Remembers exact stack sizes and restores split stacks
- Restores armor and offhand items
- Moves items that are blocking a recovered item's original slot
- If your inventory is completely full, blocking items can be dropped to make room
- Shows a small 5-minute recovery timer in the top-right
- The timer only runs while matching dropped items are loaded
- In singleplayer, the timer pauses when the game is actually paused
- Works entirely client-side
SlotRecall is designed to make getting your stuff back after death quicker without changing how death itself works.
