You paused your Flashback recording to go do something else. You came back. You forgot to unpause it. Now there's a ten minute hole in your footage and you didn't notice until you went to export.

Did You Unpause? watches Flashback's recorder and makes sure that never happens again.

What it does

While Flashback is paused, this mod watches what you're actually doing. The moment you start playing again, breaking blocks, placing them, moving around, or looking around, it throws up a title on your screen, plays an anvil-landing sound, and drops a sarcastic reminder in chat. It keeps nagging every so often for as long as you stay active and paused, so it's genuinely hard to miss.

Every message is randomized, there's a whole rotating pool of insults for the nag itself, plus separate one-off puns that fire the moment the recording actually pauses and unpauses.

Snooze it, or just fix it for you

Got nagged mid-build and don't want to stop? Click Snooze in chat to quiet it down for a few minutes, or Disable Until Unpause (with a confirmation step, so it's not an accident) to shut it up entirely until you next unpause.

Prefer the mod to just fix the mistake instead of yelling at you about it? Flip on Auto-Unpause in the settings and it'll quietly unpause the recording for you and send a friendly heads-up instead of the scary title and sound.

Fully configurable

Press F9 in-game (rebindable in Options > Controls) to open the settings screen, or open it from Mod Menu if you have it. From there:

• turn the whole mod on or off
• choose exactly what counts as "still playing" while paused: breaking blocks and placing blocks are on by default, movement and camera look are opt-in
• change how often it re-nags you, and how long the snooze button lasts
• switch on auto-unpause mode

A note on support

This is a small companion mod built for a specific friend group, not a big actively developed project. It'll keep getting maintained as long as people use it, but don't expect a fast release cadence or quick PR reviews. See the repo's CONTRIBUTING.md for the full version of that.
