WederTools

WederTools adds a collection of special temporary tools designed for survival, economy, prison, factions and custom Minecraft servers. Each tool can have a limited lifetime, a specific number of uses, or be completely infinite. The remaining lifetime is displayed directly in the item's lore and automatically updates while the player carries the tool. Unlike traditional expiration systems, WederTools includes a real pause system: the timer only decreases while the tool is inside the inventory or Ender Chest of an online player. Tools stored in chests, crates, dropped on the ground or owned by an offline player do not lose time.

• Protection Plugin Support — Additional blocks broken by abilities trigger BlockBreakEvent, allowing protection plugins such as WorldGuard and GriefPrevention to handle them normally.
• Visual Effects — Configurable particles and sounds when abilities are activated or tools expire.
• Custom Model Data — Every tool can use its own CustomModelData for custom resource packs.
• Interactive GUI — Administrators can access every registered tool through /tools items.
• 10 Languages — Spanish, English, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Russian, Polish, Turkish and Chinese.
• Paper & Folia Support — Uses region and entity schedulers where appropriate, with Bukkit scheduling on 1.19.
• Automatic File Updates — Outdated item and language files are backed up as .old when a new file version is required.

Amethyst Sell Axe Default Duration: 3 Days Right-click a Chest, Trapped Chest or Barrel to instantly sell its supported contents using Vault. Prices are completely configurable. Amethyst Axe Default Duration: 7 Days Break one log and automatically cut down the connected tree. The maximum amount of logs removed by one activation is configurable. Amethyst Pickaxe Default Duration: 7 Days Mine blocks in a configurable 3x3 area. The mining direction automatically adapts to where the player is looking, including horizontal, upward and downward mining. Amethyst Shovel Default Duration: 7 Days Excavate compatible shovel blocks in a 3x3 area. Supports materials such as dirt, sand, gravel, snow and clay. Amethyst Bucket Default Duration: 500 Uses Right-click water or lava to automatically drain connected fluid blocks. By default, one use can remove up to: Both the drain amount and radius are configurable. Shard Booster Default Duration: 1 Use Activates a temporary shard multiplier. Default configuration: WederTools exposes the player's active multiplier through its API so another shard/economy plugin can apply it. Infinite Ender Pearl Duration: Infinite An Ender Pearl that never disappears. Includes a configurable cooldown between throws and visual cooldown support. Temporary tools contain a dynamic expiration timer directly inside their lore. Example: The counter automatically updates while the player carries the tool. During the final minute, the timer can display the remaining time second by second. Most importantly, the timer does not run continuously. Time only decreases while the tool is located inside:

• The inventory of an online player
• The Ender Chest of an online player

The timer freezes when the tool is:

• Inside a normal chest
• Inside a crate
• Dropped on the ground
• Owned by an offline player

This allows temporary tools to represent actual usage availability instead of expiring simply because real-world time has passed. Every item can use one of three duration modes:

Mode	Description
TIME	Expires after its configured active lifetime.
USES	Expires after reaching a configured number of uses.
INFINITY	Never expires through the WederTools expiration system.

Examples: Special abilities do not replace Minecraft's normal durability system. Pickaxes, axes and shovels still receive durability damage when used. Additional blocks destroyed by abilities such as 3x3 mining or Tree Cutting also consume durability. Enchantments such as:

• Efficiency
• Fortune
• Unbreaking
• Mending

can be configured individually for each tool. A temporary tool can therefore disappear because its WederTools timer expires or because its normal Minecraft durability reaches zero — whichever happens first. WederTools does not simply bypass normal block-breaking logic when processing special abilities. Additional blocks affected by abilities trigger BlockBreakEvent. This allows protection systems such as:

• WorldGuard
• GriefPrevention
• Other plugins listening to BlockBreakEvent

to control whether those additional blocks can actually be destroyed. Main Command: Aliases: /tools help — Displays the command help. /tools items — Opens the GUI containing all available special tools. /tools give <player> <item_id> [duration|uses|infinity] [amount] — Gives a custom tool to a player. /tools reload — Reloads config.yml, items.yml and language files. All command arguments include TAB completion. The first command gives Steve an Amethyst Pickaxe with its default 7-day lifetime. The second creates a custom 1-day Pickaxe. The third creates an Amethyst Bucket with 100 uses. The final command gives Steve three Amethyst Axes without a WederTools expiration timer. If the player's inventory is full, remaining items are safely dropped next to the player.

Example: Available handlers: You can create additional variants by copying an existing item entry and assigning another ID, material or handler.

WederTools includes 10 built-in languages: Spanish • English • Portuguese • French • German • Italian • Russian • Polish • Turkish • Chinese Language files support: If a translation key is missing from an existing language file, WederTools uses the default value bundled inside the plugin.

1. Download WederTools-<version>.jar.
2. Place it inside your server's plugins/ directory.
3. Optionally install Vault and an economy plugin if you want to use the Amethyst Sell Axe.
4. Start your server.
5. WederTools automatically generates:
