SkyPack_Galaxy

50 ready-made skies, suns, moons, clouds and rain for CustomSkyboxes.

Galaxies, nebulae, vortexes, auroras, storms and star fields — all hand-tuned, seamless, and made to be dropped straight into the game with one command.

This pack does nothing on its own. It needs the CustomSkyboxes mod, which is what draws the sky and applies the textures.

How to Use

1. Install CustomSkyboxes.
2. Drop the pack into your resourcepacks folder and enable it.
3. Pick a sky:

/customskyboxes set moon moon_blood.png

Every sky is also in the day_sky and night_sky folders, so the same file name works on any of the three domes.

Pair them with the mod's animations and effects:

/customskyboxes animate sky rotation 200 loop=true

Technical Details

• Skies are 2048×1024 equirectangular panoramas (2:1), the shape CustomSkyboxes maps around the dome.
• The noise wraps horizontally, so nothing shows up at the seam where the left and right edges meet.
• Suns and moons are drawn on transparency; moons are full discs and the mod cuts the phases out of them.
• Clouds and rain tile seamlessly on both axes.
• Works from Minecraft 1.20.1 to 26.2, on Fabric, NeoForge and Forge — the pack declares a wide format range, so no version marks it as incompatible.
